Abstract. This specification covers crushed steel slag coarse and fine aggregates suitable for use in bituminous paving mixtures. The coarse and fine aggregates shall consist of hard, tough, durable pieces of steel slag, and shall be processed, as necessary, by crushing or screening, or both, and magnetic separation for the removal of metallics.
